Craigslist scammer #2

Wednesday, March 10th, 2010

Having posted the following ad on Craigslist a day earlier I was thrilled to be contacted by a 2nd scammer:

Like NEW Notebook Computer, 4PB HDD, DDR4 Memory, Intel i8 4.66 GHz ($1850)

Selling my TheItem (r) brand notebook computer, it has the latest technologies that any scammer will love including 16 GB of DDR4 memory, 1 PetaBytes of hard disk drive, and the latest Intel Core i8 running 8 physical cores and Megathreading technology for utmost performance with multi-threaded applications.

You will not find a better deal on the item, the brand ‘TheItem’ produces the most robust products that can withstand international shipping, especially to South Africa from where I’ve been getting lots of appealing offers lately.

I want you to be happy with this item, therefore I can ship the item first and wait for its delivery prior to asking for your payment.

Since I love to be ripped off I prefer long distance sales and will accept any non-secure payment method such as, but not limited to, money orders or Paypal.

Note: I’m just looking for really stupid scammers that’ll inevitably contact me without even reading this ad.
