A few pictures taken at the long neck village close to Chiang Mai:
Here are a few pictures taken during the show at the Snake Farm near Chiang Mai.
The show started right off with two cobras which I believe were King cobras.
If you want to experience Chinatown when it is busiest you should go during the day, I was mostly interested in taking night pictures and went at sunset:
This store has all the ingredients needed for a fantastic soup: shark fins, sea horses, snakes, and many other delicacies that leave foreigners puzzled:

Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn) is in the Bangkok Yai district next to the west bank of the Chao Phraya river. If you are on the other side it is way faster to simply cross the river by boat rather than trying to reach it by car, as the latter could take you an hour instead of just couple minutes by boat.
A friend and I visited the Kanchanburi province and stopped at the bridge on the river Kwai, this was a warm day at just 44 degrees Celsius…
This floating market located 60 miles west of Bangkok was called one of the few ‘unspoiled’ markets by the touristic guide I purchased in the US.
Unfortunately if you arrive past 9am this market is as touristic as it gets. So, if you really want to enjoy it you should come as early as possible (before 8 am) when only locals might be present.
